What a week!

I know it’s not yet the weekend but I am now actually very tired and can’t wait for Friday! Last week my grandparents came here in Dubai for a short vacation before going on a 3-month stay at the UK. It was great seeing them again.

For the past week we’ve been constantly on the move, going to malls and eating out, treating ‘tatay’ and ’nanay’ for a quick trip around the city. But it was tiring. Now that everything seems to be back to normal, I am now feeling tired and sleepy due to last week’s hectic ‘agenda’…

I wanna sleep… (Insert yawning emoticon here…)

GITEX Technology Week 2007

GITEX, or Gulf Technology Exhibition 2007, was held in the Dubai World Trade Centre last September 8-12, 2007 in the heart of the city. It was my first time to attend such conferences/exhibitions. The thing that got me excited is that all of the top manufacturers will be showcasing their newest products. It was actually very tiring, but what I discovered (as I am part of the media and has to interview people for the magazine), I got to meet a lot of people. It was really fun, at first you would think that these people (some of them were General Managers and Managing Directors) were all about serious… but no, every one of them was fun and upbeat in their interviews. I was really glad I met them. And I saw a whole lot of new LCDs, PDAs, and mobile phones. And the best part of being a media? Freebies! I got a whole lot of stuff from GITEX 2007… Wow, I think I’ll definitely be coming back next year. Here are a couple of shots:

Giorgio Armani - Attitude

It Armani’s new scent. I was actually settling between CKIN2U and this one. But this one won me over. It has a definite smell that really encompasses the Armani brand. Why make such a big deal about this perfume? This is actually the first time I ever bought a perfume (those body sprays from Bench doesn’t count). I even got a free Hugo Boss deospray from my purchase. Now I’m deciding whether I’ll open it or not. Hehe. Visit website here.
